Andrea Sinkin Jaffe has always had a passion for design, fashion, and travel.
As the daughter of renowned interior designer Beverly Sinkin of New York-based Beverly Sinkin Design, Andrea developed a distinctive design aesthetic from a young age.
She grew up with a loving grandmother who owned an antique store. Their weekends were spent in a trusty station wagon, exploring estate and yard sales, hunting for hidden treasures, and rescuing items destined for the garbage. Andrea cherishes countless stories from decades of antiquing adventures and has developed a profound love for the hunt and collecting.
Andrea’s professional journey began in fashion and home textiles, where she worked as a New York representative for prestigious European art studios based in Italy, France, and the UK. In this role, she provided trend direction and showcased their collections to creative directors at major companies like Knoll, Duralee, Croscill, Macy’s, Schumacher, Robert Allen, and many other notable firms.
Andrea’s expertise expanded into the world of trend forecasting, working with top international brands in both Paris and New York. Season after season, leading companies such as Target, Revlon, Ralph Lauren, Mohawk Flooring, General Motors, and Hooker Furniture relied on Andrea to provide timely, globally-inspired trends and insightful guidance in developing their next collections.
After 15 years in the fashion and design world, Andrea returned to her roots, joining her mother's design firm and leveraging her fashion experience to elevate her interior design practice. In 2017, Andrea founded Andrea Sinkin Design, merging her passions for fashion and design to create beautiful, personalized spaces for her clients. With a deep understanding of textiles, color, and floor plans from the ground up, Andrea thrives on building collaborative relationships with her clients to bring their vision to life.
Andrea’s work has been featured in top publications including House Beautiful, New England Home, Martha Stewart Living, At Home, Southern Living, and more. In 2024, she was nominated for an A-List award by At Home magazine, and in 2023, she was honored as the Best Designer in Greenwich by Greenwich Lifestyle magazine.
Beyond her design work, Andrea is deeply involved in the local Greenwich community. From 2017 to 2020, she co-chaired Greenwich Hospital’s Under the Stars fundraiser, which supports Women’s and Children’s Health, and continues to serve on Greenwich Hospital’s Leadership Committee. Andrea is also a design partner with Bloom Family Designs, a nonprofit that creates beautifully designed rooms for adopted and foster children at no cost to families. Locally, she partners with Five Steps to Five, an organization focused on early childhood brain development and family education where Andrea helps create a warm nurturing environment in their Port Chester based location. Andrea donates a portion of her proceeds to various charities that support animals, children, and community development.
Andrea resides in Greenwich, CT with her husband, their two young daughters, and two lively dogs.
